The application window for pupils who are due to start secondary school for the first time in September 2027 will open on Thursday (10 September, 2026), and parents and guardians have until 31 October, 2026, to complete theirs.
Parents and guardians should log on to School admissions to complete the short application process.
Anyone who needs support making their online application is invited to attend one of the School Application Surgeries being held at the Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton, on Thursdays 10 September, 24 September, 15 October and 29 October, 2026, from 10am to 2pm. No appointment is necessary.
Councillor Jeszemma Howl, Cabinet Member for Governance and Digital, said: "We all want the very best for our children, and choosing the right school is a key part of that. I'd urge parents and carers to start thinking about their choices now and make sure they get their application in before the deadline of the end of October.
"If you need any help or support with your online application, please come along to one of the surgeries taking place over the next few weeks, and our Customer Services team will be happy to help you with any queries you may have.”
