Green activities and spooky fun at city’s libraries next week

Green Libraries Week, which runs from Monday (27 October) to Sunday 2 November, celebrates libraries with a focus on the climate and sustainability.

Special events taking place in Wolverhampton include:

  • Penn to Paper creative writing group, Penn Library, Tuesday 28 October, from 10.30am to 11.30am
  • Green Libraries Week Online Quiz, Tuesday 28 October, 5.30pm to 6.30pm
  • Tabletop games night, Bilston Library, Wednesday 29 October, 5pm to 7pm
  • Crime Club Reading Group, Penn Library, Friday 31 October, 10.30am to 11.30am
  • Discovering WW1 Army Records Drop-In Session, Penn Library, Friday 31 October, 10am to 11am
  • Poetry Event with Emma Purshouse, Penn Library, Friday 31 October, 11.40am to 12.40pm

Meanwhile children's events over half term are as follows:

  • Halloween Havoc Story and Craft session, Central Children’s Library, Tuesday 28 October, 2pm to 3pm
  • Lego Club Halloween Special, Central Children’s Library, Thursday 30 October, 2pm to 3pm
  • Pumpkin Book Folding, Bilston Library, Thursday 30 October, 11.30am to 12.30pm
  • Halloween Crafts and Storytime, Bilston Library, Friday 31 October, 10.30am to 11.30am
