Help at the Hub will see a wide variety of local organisations offer free advice and information. The event will take place on Tuesday, 11 August, between 11am and 2pm, at The Gathering Space, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Lichfield Street, WV1 1DU.
Help at the Hub has been organised by officers from City of Wolverhampton Council’s Public Protection Scams Team who will be handing out free scams awareness and prevention packs.
Residents can speak with representatives from Act on Energy, Alzheimer’s Society, Environmental Crime, Financial Wellbeing and Healthwatch.
Officers from KOOTH, Public Protection, Rethink, Shared Lives, SUIT, Terrific for Twos, Wolverhampton College and WorkWell will also be available.
Councillor Qaiser Azeem, cabinet member for resident services at City of Wolverhampton Council, said: “Our Help at the Hub events are a great way to bring support and advice directly out to residents and this time we are pleased to be in the very central location of our wonderful Art Gallery
“By bringing a wide range of organisations together in one place we can offer people guidance on lots of different topics. This makes it easier for people to access the support they need in one visit.
“Whether it’s health advice, education information, financial support or other concerns, there’s help for everyone. Do pop along on August 11 for a chat - we’d be happy to see you and help you find the support you need.”
People do not have to book an appointment but are asked to please be prepared to wait if the event is busy.
