Newhampton Arts Centre have released details of their upcoming children’s
Christmas theatre show, with a specially adapted version of a much-loved
children’s book, Moonbeam on a Cat's Ear (Voyage au Clair de Lune) by
author and illustrator Marie-Louise Gay. This visual journey into an exciting
world of dreams and imagination promises to delight Wolverhampton
audiences and is set to be the perfect festive treat for families with younger
children.

In the middle of the night Rosie,
Toby Toby, the cat and the mouse
sneak out to play in the shadow of
the apple tree.
When Toby Toby steals the moon from
the sky they go on an adventure
across the stars and the sea.
But, was it all just a dream?

Jabuti Theatre’s adaptation for the stage captures the beauty and detail of the
books’ original illustrations by using puppetry, physical theatre and magical
light boxes. This dream-like and visually compelling story about two children
and their adventure with the moon promises to be an unforgettable trip to
theatre for first-time theatre goers and familes alike this December.

delight, coming to Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton on Saturday
