Enoch Evans Solicitors collaborated with Walsall Healthcare's charity, Well Wishers, for their annual Make a Will Fortnight campaign, held from November 3rd to 15th, 2025. As part of this initiative, Enoch Evans Solicitors waived their standard fee for Will preparation, encouraging donations to the charity instead. The campaign successfully raised a commendable total of £1,585.
Richard Neea, Partner and Head of the Wills, Tax, and Probate Department at Enoch Evans Solicitors, expressed great pride in supporting Well Wishers through this collaboration. He emphasised the firm's long-standing association with the hospital and its commitment to enhancing community services in Walsall.
Over the years, the partnership between Enoch Evans Solicitors and Well Wishers has created great results. Funds raised from previous campaigns have facilitated the refurbishment of a sensory room for children with special needs and disabilities, as well as the provision of virtual reality headsets for young adults. Observing the impact of their contributions highlights the significance of supporting local charities that drive positive change within the community.
Last year's funds contributed to upgrading the Maternity Unit at Walsall Manor Hospital, specifically aiding in the refurbishment of the Maternity Discharge Lounge. Georgie Westley, Fundraising Manager at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, expressed sincere gratitude for Enoch Evans' unwavering support and the success of the Make a Will partnership. She said: ““We are really pleased to have the support of Enoch Evans again this year following the annual Make A Will Fortnight partnership. It has been running for several years now and continues to be a very successful campaign. The money raised this year will go towards new wall graphics in our Children’s Emergency Department, helping to create a more welcoming environment for young patients and their families.”
The Emergency Department will use the funds to add permanent artwork to the cubicles to make them look less clinical and more child friendly.
Jayne Rodgers, Paediatric Emergency Department Play Specialist, said: “We always put the children at the centre of the care, this is paramount to everything we do.
“The aim is that the refurbished area will help the children to feel more relaxed when they are with us, and will also help the children with neurodiverse conditions, or learning disabilities as the artwork will be used as distraction techniques.”
The collaboration between Enoch Evans Solicitors and Well Wishers demonstrates the strength of teamwork in achieving meaningful change. By joining forces to support critical healthcare services, both organisations are making a lasting impact on the well-being of the Walsall community.
