Nominate a female friend, colleague, or family member for their chance to win our Inspirational Woman of the Year Award, 2026 at BCWA’s International Women’s Day event, Saturday 7th March.
We’re looking for candidates who give to their communities, whether that be their energy, expertise, or enthusiasm, to help create a more supportive and interconnected world.
This is the fourth year of our high-profile award and previous winners have come from the fields of disability inclusion, community health, and counselling. Candidates will be exceptional women who challenge discrimination, question bias, and celebrate women’s success. They share their knowledge, encourage others and work in partnership for gender equality. They may be a teacher, community leader, businesswoman, volunteer, or friend. They could have made their mark in a male-dominated workplace, acted as a mentor and role model, fundraised for charities, or used sport, art or culture to help women find their voice.
Entries are free and the winner will receive:
• A free ticket to our fantastic International Women’s Day event at The Hawthorns, West Bromwich Football Club, on Saturday 7th March. The winner will join us for a wonderful evening of celebration and inspiration!
• Recognition of their achievements in a speech by our CEO and in a beautiful award that is theirs to keep.
• Promotion of their work and achievements on our engaging social media channels.
