WV Living has officially commenced work on its latest residential development, Pear Tree Lane, located on the former site of Coseley Swimming Baths. The scheme will deliver 34 new homes for sale, comprising a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom properties designed to meet the needs of modern families.

The development is being delivered in partnership with Willenhall based contractor W13 Ltd, with a show home scheduled to open in autumn 2025. Pear Tree Lane marks WV Living’s first project just outside the Wolverhampton boundary, expanding the company’s reach while continuing its mission to build high quality, sustainable homes.

All homes at Pear Tree Lane will be fitted with electric vehicle charging points and built to modern energy-efficient standards, supporting both local housing needs and environmental goals.

Sally Saunders, Managing Director at WV Living, said: “Pear Tree Lane reflects WV Living’s ongoing commitment to creating homes that people love living in and communities they feel proud to be part of. Whether it’s a first time buyer or a growing family, this development offers something for everyone.”

WV Living is a wholly owned housing company of City of Wolverhampton Council and is currently midway through a major programme to deliver private homes for sale and affordable housing. To date, the company has delivered over 600 new homes, with more than 550 additional properties planned over the next five years.

Councillor Steve Evans, the council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for City Housing, said: “I am delighted to see W13 Ltd on site and know they will produce homes to a standard befitting of WV Living’s exciting new developments.

“As we expand our efforts to provide essential housing, we are proud to support the City of Wolverhampton's comprehensive house building programme. Venturing beyond our usual boundaries, we are dedicated to creating cherished new homes for the community.”

Tony Sadla, Remediation & Land Director at W13 Ltd, said: “We’re proud to have been chosen to deliver the construction to revitalise this brownfield site. Our team is focused on delivering high quality homes with care and precision, ensuring each property is built to last and integrates seamlessly into the local community.”

The Pear Tree Lane show home will open later this year, offering prospective buyers the opportunity to explore the design, layout, and craftsmanship that define WV Living homes.
