The ‘Baby & Me’ event will take place at the Best Start Family Hub in Graiseley and is being delivered by the Council’s Parent and Infant Wellbeing team.
Supporting Maternal Mental Health Week (4-10 May), the free drop-in parent and baby event for parents and carers with young children, new mothers, pregnant women and their families takes place from 4.30pm to 6.30pm and free goody bags will also be given out.
There will be a wide range of information stalls available to highlight the free services available alongside activities including:
Dawn, Zoe and Marcia from the Parent and Infant Wellbeing team run weekly Baby and Me sessions and will be there to welcome everyone to the event.
Denise Williams, Service Manager, said: “Maternal Mental Health Week is an important opportunity to remind parents and families that they are not alone and that help and support is available.
“Events like our Baby & Me drop-in create a welcoming space for parents and carers to connect, access trusted advice and find out more about the free support on offer to help both parents and babies thrive during the early years.”
