City of Wolverhampton College has joined local charity Compton Care's Business Club to support its vital work in providing expert care, comfort and reassurance for people with life-limiting conditions.
The college has become part of a network of organisations committed to supporting the charity as it provides end-of-life and palliative care, family support and bereavement services to patients across the region.
Joining the Business Club demonstrates the college's commitment to giving back to the community and working in partnership with organisations that make a difference to people's lives.
Louise Fall, principal and chief executive of the college, said: "Compton Care provides vital support for people at difficult times in their lives and we are proud to have joined a network of like-minded businesses to support its work and make a positive impact in the local area."
Rachel Hailey, corporate fundraiser at Compton Care, said: "We’re delighted to welcome City of Wolverhampton College into our Business Club community. Their support ensures we can continue providing specialist care and comfort to local people living with life limiting conditions, as well as vital support for their families. Partnerships like this help us reach more people when they need us most, and we’re incredibly grateful to the college for standing alongside us."
For more than 40 years, Compton Care has been a trusted local charity offering compassionate, free-of-charge support for people living with life limiting conditions.
Its specialist teams help individuals manage symptoms, maintain independence, and improve their quality of life – whether care is provided at Compton’s Inpatient Unit, in the community, or at home.
The charity also offers emotional, psychological and spiritual support for families and carers, alongside bereavement services designed to help loved ones navigate loss with dignity and understanding.
