Local up and coming Bilston rock band Canis are back to doing what they love best; performing live. The band was formed in Bilston by school friends Matt, Nik and Jack when they were just 14.  Their music is inspired by their love of listening to Metallica, Whitesnake, Alterbridge and System of a Down whilst growing up. Having performed at many venues in the local area including The Giffard in Wolverhampton and  Bilstons very own live music venue The Robin 2. The group cite their favourite gig to date as one they played at Bilston Sports and Labour Club a few years ago which was performed to a packed out crowd of enthusiastic rock fans. Next year they hope to grow their fan base even wider and record their first ever album. For any inspiring young musicians out there -  Matt lead singer of the band says - ‘’ our advice would be don’t look back and wish you had done it - just go for it!  You’ll meet great people, make great memories and have a great time!’’.

Canis will be performing their first gig of the year at the 44 club Wolverhampton on 26th February.
