Local actor & musician Luke Dalton to appear on The Ian Henery Show on Black Country Xtra on Sunday 19th October at 4pm and Monday 20th October at 6pm.
He appeared at the very first Walsall Maker Festival last year as part of "Georgina & The Dragon", a street theatre production, for RiCNic Arts in Walsall. Since then Luke has performed at 3 SOLD OUT shows in one day funded by Arts Council England for the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival in Birmingham.
Luke Dalton is an actor, pianist and composer. He has been a stage actor for 27 years, and has appeared in plays across many genres including comedy, pantomimes, and drama. He has been a member of many theatre groups including A Comedy Theatre Group, Action, and the Shakespearean theatre group MDCC in which he acted in plays such as Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra, The Tempest and Hamlet. He will be appearing in Snow White with A Comedy Theatre Group on the 12th, 13th and 14th of December at Wollaston Village Hall.
Beyond the stage, Luke Dalton has acted on screen both in film and TV, most notably in the historical television series War Above the Trenches, where he not only acted but also lent his voice as a narrator.
As a composer, Luke channels his passion into creating piano music in a classical style. His musical versatility also extends to rock, having released a symphonic rock single called "Falling" which he co-wrote with vocalist Kim Izzard. He is currently immersed in crafting his instrumental piano album, "Painting With Music".
