When local businesses come together to support their community, the results can be something truly special.
Sorted Print Services, based in Kingswinford, was proud to support Manny’s Mile, an ambitious fundraising challenge in aid of Dementia UK, by teaming up with Eighty3 Design, a creative design agency based in Brierley Hill, to produce 600 flags for the participating schools.
Both businesses are proud members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, and the project was a fantastic example of how local business connections can develop into meaningful collaborations that make a real difference.
On 17th and 18th September, Manny Singh Kang BEM took on the incredible challenge of running 50 miles across 50 Wolverhampton primary schools in just two days. At each school, Manny was joined by pupils who ran one mile alongside him, bringing schools and communities together and giving hundreds of children the chance to be part of something truly inspiring.
The challenge was a huge success, raising over an incredible £40,268 for Dementia UK.
Eighty3 Design brought its creative expertise to the project, while Sorted Print Services put its print experience and knowledge to work. Sorted was also delighted to donate 300 of the 600 flags completely free of charge as its contribution to the fundraising effort.
The flags were distributed across the participating schools, adding plenty of colour and excitement as children cheered Manny on and took part in their own mile.
Seeing the 600 flags flying across Wolverhampton was a particularly proud moment and a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when local businesses, schools and communities work together.
For Sorted and Eighty3 Design, being involved was about much more than producing flags. It was about supporting an important local fundraising initiative, collaborating with another Black Country business and helping bring people, schools and communities together.
Well done, Manny, the participating schools and everyone who helped make Manny’s Mile such an incredible success!
