Wirral Bird Club - “St Kilda - The Lonely Isles” - An illustrated presentation by Steve Halliwell - Thursday 25th April 2024, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
Steve says:-
“St. Kilda: The Lonely Isles is an insight into the natural as well as a brief social history of an intriguing archipelago that most naturalists have heard of, but few have visited.”
The attached photo is an aerial shot of part of the archipelago, showing the islands of Dun in the foreground, Soay at the rear, and Hirta, the only island that was ever permanently occupied, in-between.”
This illustrated presentation will take place at St Bridget’s Church Centre, Church Road, West Kirby, Wirral, CH48 7HL.
Visitors are very welcome, and the cost is £4.00, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
