RSPB Wirral Local Group - “Namibia and Botswana” - An illustrated presentation by Hugh Stewart - Thursday 4th December 2025, from 7.30 pm (doors open 7.15pm).
Many of you will know Hugh Stewart from meeting him birding around Wirral and as a member of Wirral Bird Club, for which he writes his blog, ‘Hugh’s News’.
Hugh’s talkexplores the birds and abundant wildlife that inhabit the varied landscapes of Namibia and Botswana, featuring the lush Okavango Delta, arid Etosha National Park, the Kalahari Desert and the world’s highest sand dunes.
The attached photograph, of a White-rumped Babbler, was taken by Hugh.
This illustrated presentation will take place at Hoylake Community Centre, 31 Hoyle Road, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 3AG
Local group members free. Visitors are very welcome, and the cost is £5.00.
