RSPB Wirral Local Group - “An Osprey in a shopping bag” - An illustrated presentation by Alasdair McKee - Thursday 2nd October 2025, from 7.30 pm (doors open at 7.15 pm).
Alasdair McKee is RSPB local groups’ officer for the north of England, based in Lancaster. Since 2015 he has been ‘looking out’ for Ospreys with Cumbria Wildlife Trust at Foulshaw Moss.
Alasdair’s talk will take us through the history of Ospreys in Britain before focussing on the breeding birds in Cumbria, their ups and downs and how they fared in 2025.
This illustrated presentation will take place at Hoylake Community Centre, 31 Hoyle Road, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 3AG
Local group members free. Visitors are very welcome, and the cost is £5.00.
