The Dash Charity help people affected by domestic abuse - advice is confidential and support is discreet

The Dash Charity exist for one reason, to help individuals and families affected by domestic abuse with confidential advice and support.

The Dash Charity was established in 1976 as East Berkshire Women’s Aid and then Berkshire East & South Bucks Women’s Aid before rebranding in 2014 to The Dash Charity.

They run three refuges that can house up to 14 families at one time where families get individual support and safety plans. They can stay at the refuge from several months to a whole year.

The Dash Charity also runs an award winning Advocacy and Outreach Service established in 2008 which supports victims of domestic abuse within the local community.

This service allows children of victims of domestic abuse to be referred to the charity's Children’s Services Team.
In 2009 a service for male victims of domestic abuse was launched, and there has been male refuge accommodation since 2012.
