Her Majesty The Queen met with China's Premier Li Keqiang and his wife Cheng Hong yesterday (17 June 2014) at Windsor Castle. They are here on a three day visit and will see David Cameron today in Downing Street (18 June 2014).
This visit was planned following a cancelled trip to London at late notice by the Premier two months ago after a human rights row developed between China and the UK. The Chinese Government were angry about a British Foreign Office document which criticised its rights record.
David Cameron met Mr Li last year to help boost trade between the UK and China.
