Reasons You Should Book That Trip in 2016

You’ve wanted to visit Morocco since three Christmas’s ago, Thailand since you saw that James Bond film, Bali since reading Eat Pray Love, but somehow you haven’t actually managed to get it together and commit, there’s always a reason or an excuse.

Well guess what, 2016 is the year of the Monkey according to the Chinese Zodiac, which is the year of ambition of adventure, meaning there’s no time like the present to explore the world.

Life will start getting in the way

You’ve finished school, graduated university, got your first big job, your friends are getting married, having kids, buying houses, maybe you’re doing all that too, whilst none of these things should stop us from travelling they just do, for obvious reasons.

So before you hit the next big milestone in your life get out there and see the world. You’ll never regret travelling so why not go and  have an adventure or two, or maybe even three, before committing to life back home.

We’re not getting any younger

Why wait until you’ve lived your life, had kids and retired to go on your travels? What about now whilst we’re young and able, you can still hike mountains, drink yourself silly, bungee or jump out of a plane on a whim.

Of course there are tons of the older generation who are still fit as a fiddle and travelling the world, living life to the full, but you never know what’s round the corner, so live in the moment as they say and go on an adventure!

Sport, music, culture

2016 is an incredible year for events all over the world e.g.

  • Rio Carnival
  • Wanderlust Festival in Oahu
  • Australian Tennis Open
  • European Championship
  • Tour de France
  • Rio Olympics and Paralympics
  • Glastonbury Festival...

...if you want a reason to get out and see the world then attending an incredible event like one of these is a very good one!

From annual events to special once every four years events, you can guarantee that no two years at an event will be the same, definitely makes them worth checking out.

It’s good for your health

Honestly, it is! Seeing new sights, discovering new cultures, learning new languages, meeting new people, all of the above are good for your soul and wellbeing.

If you live in a city then getting away from it all, breathing new air, getting sun on your skin and enjoying some time out can do wonders for you.

Those with stressful jobs or who have a lot going on, relax on a beach, spend a week hiking, disconnect from the day to day and remember what it is too chill out.
