I just got back from our national conference at 'thebestof' down in Coventry -what a great event. The one thing (and only thing!) I miss not working for a big corporation are the annual 'get togethers' - well now I can join in with 'thebestofwigan'.
The franchisor of 'thebestof' announced the launch of some great new marketing initiatives -not sure how they kept it 'all under wraps' for so long-but worth the wait.
From May 2010, our Business Members will have a fully automated online quotation system for their products and services. Web visitors will be able to, at the click of a button, request a quote from any business listed on 'thebestofwigan'.
Better still(in my view) as of May 2010, all of our Business Members will be able to have a video web recording on their web feature of either themselves or one of their delighted customers, talking for 60-90 seconds on their business - truly powerful marketing !
...and there's the option to have this done quickly, cost effectively and easily by us or they can use our nominated Video Production Company (Capture 1) to make it a real masterpiece visually.
I'm sending out all the details on these new features over the next few days.
