I am a very nervous patient, I had emergency treatment during lockdown which caused me to have a panic attack in the reception. The effects of the panic attack were ongoing during my appointment and treatment. My dentist didn't seem to know how to cope with nervous patients but he treated me with a temporary filling. He is understandably very overworked and stressed during this global pandemic. He said i need a root canal, i went back last week as the temporary filling felt very tender and the area was swollen, he diagnosed an infection but seemed very short with me, like he was having a bad day. I felt like i couldn't ask him about my treatment plan, i was still extremely nervous and was trying to make myself feel comfortable and confident enough to ask the questions but I left with a feeling that I was a nuisance and a prescription for antibiotics. I need treatment but I don't know what to do. It just seems like the two dentists I have seen at the Blackpool practice are not able to deal with nervous patients. I definitely make allowances for professionals during this very difficult time but I haven't had all of the help that I have needed from my appointments so I don't know how to proceed. I am am NHS patient which has made it difficult to get appointments including for emergency due to the guidelines. I would suggest going private if you need care.

Always get first class treatment at Burscough practice. All the staff are lovely and Mr Stanley makes patients feel at ease , would not go anywhere else.

I am so glad I came to these dentists approx 2 years ago. The dentist is very experienced and put me at ease completely (which is amazing considering I am a v v nervous patient) After having too many teeth removed by previous dentists, I needed dentures. I have a set of beautiful natural looking teeth thanks to the skill of Dr Zohaib Zaman!!! The nurse, Vicky Garnett was fantastic and she helped put me at ease too.
I can not recommend these dentists enough and would suggest no matter what you need doing dentistry wise, you give them a call and get Dr Zamans services booked in!!

As a VERY nervous patient and not having been to a dentist for 13 years I was dreading my treatment. However Dr Ai Ling Lim and her very kind assistant were wonderful. So understanding and didnt make me feel stupid in my emotional state. It has cured my fear of dentists and I will not hesitate to visit regularly in future.

Had a veneer and a filling this week. Very quick appointment, no pain and Dr Rashidi did a great job of my veneer. Clinical assistant/dental nurses are always lovely as are the reception staff.

Morgan the reception put me at ease as she could tell I was nervous this was my first visit, Adam my dentist also put me at ease he had a really caring manner I explained my problem and after an examination he advised of the next steps which gave me piece of mind,I am very happy to now be a patient with this practice, thank you for the kindness and understanding I was shown during my visit.

Received professional care from start to finish, 4 treatments in all. My first time as a private patient, so little taken aback at cost of PPE I was charged for each dental treatment, and the dentist chair had seen better days, but I could not fault my dental treatment.

Good practice and friendly staff. I can only do Saturday appointments due to my job and and they always find the time to fit me in .iam really pleased I changed over if not just for the girls the dentist makes me laugh aswell .pete

My original course of treatment hadn't started before covid but I commenced as soon as they were allowed to treat private patients after the first lockdown. Since then I cannot say how wonderful the whole experience has been. I'm having my front tooth taken out in 2 weeks it was something that I was frightened to do but now I am now confident going forward with the experiences Iv had so far that I am in very capable hands.

I have been a patient at Blackpool Synergy Dental Clinic for years..im a very very nervous patient as always hated going to the dentist..the dentist i have is Adam he always makes me feel at ease talks me through my routine...and gives me time if i feel a bit nervous,so over the years ive been less nervous going now due to this clinic being so professional and caring towards there patients...the staff at reception and always pleasant and friendly..the clinic is kept very clean..they always send you a txt the day before to remind you and a follow up call asking if you were happy with your last visit...i cannot fault this dental clinic at all and have also referred friends to go..lovely place

I’ve recently joined Synergy, Preston. I’m quite a nervous dentist visitor and I can honestly say I’ve felt so calm and looked after at the clinic both times I have attended.
The receptionist’s are always so pleasant and welcoming and always happy to help. My dentist instantly helped me feel at ease by reassuring me throughout and informing me what he was doing (this helps my anxiety!!)
I’ll definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Due to my being very nervous I opted to have anaesthetic on a private basis. So glad I did felt nothing. Everyone was so caring. Having two back teeth out is not easy but I did it with a great deal of care from all of the staff both in my clinic in Burscough and for my procedure in Preston.
