The latest networking session for our members took place in January when we joined forces with Business Scene and South Coast Connections.
SCC Q5 took place at Poole Audi and offered thebestof Weymouth and Portland business members the opportunity to extend their network of contacts beyond the borough. Over a 100 people attended the evening which included networking with a glass of bubbly or two, the Llloyds TSB Networking Game, the D+R Big Idea Workshop, Magic Drum (a great fun team building exercise that leads to better communication, creativity and empowerment that participants can take back to the workplace), also Magic Circle Close-Up Magician of the Year - the amazing James Brown (watches and wallets were not safe!) There was also great food from local restaurants, wonderful music from Chris Woodford and a Raffle for the charity - Round Table Children's Wish - which raised just under £300 on the evening with thanks to some fantastic prizes including from kism-it, Holidaysplease, Revolting and yours truly - thebestof. Thank you to everyone who made the trip to Poole and a special thank you to Simon Phillips and Alan Adair for their kind hospitality and endless hard work.
