The government have started a registration process for complementary therapists. This is the first move towards integration between the complementary medicine world and the allopathic or standard medical world. Garry Andrews of Holistic Health in Weymouth said, "I have been going through the registration process for a couple of months and I am delighted to have been accepted on to the register of the Complementary and National Health Council (CNHC)." Massage is one of the first disciplines to be accepted on to the register and it is hoped that the register will become the benchmark for massage therapists and eventually other disciplines as well.
