The Oak and Glass is fast becoming a leading fine-dining restaurant in Weston super Mare and this is largely due to the skill and dedication of Chef Amy Hunt. You may have heard her interview on BBC Radio 4 during the second week in September.

Amy's taste for becoming a chef started when, at the age of 14, she worked in the kitchen of her parents hotel in Weston. Her background is in Michelin-starred restuarants and she trained at Le Manoir AuxQuat'Saisons and was one of ony three girls in a class of 40. She trained under Raymond Blanc who, she says, is very passionate about what he does. Amy has brought this same passion to Weston and her food is certain to make your mouth water and you'll leave with a promise to be back for another meal!

Amy now owns the Oak and Glass which you can check out on the feature page at Oak and Glass.

You can read more about Amy in the Food magazine, September - October 2010 edition.

And more good news for Weston - Amy supports local suppliers!
