Well this is my first ever blog and to be honest i was not sure what to write, but after mulling it over I have decided to talk about a subject i know lots about. A night out in Weston-super-Mare. There is so much to offer a person, group or family going out in Weston-super-Mare once the sun has set over our soon to be brand new pier, the town comes alive again. When looking for a fantastic fine dining experience look no further than the Oak and Glass.

Amy Hunt the head chef and owner of the Oak and Glass has years of experience and training under some of the worlds top class chef's, to name a couple Raymond Blanc and John Campbell. The menu is described as modern British which means... well I’m not sure what it means but after eating there i would describe the food as a treat to the taste buds.

After a fantastic meal at one of Weston’s best restaurants for fine dining, the rest of Weston-super-Mare still has a lot to offer. There are over 20 bars, clubs and pubs within a 1 mile radius of the town centre, which is only a short taxi ride away from the Oak and Glass.

At this point it becomes my personal preference but I normally will go to Cabot and Seven for a good night. I find Cabot plays better music but Seven is much more sophisticated, but that does come at an extra cost of £5 entry on Saturday nights £2 before 2am at Cabot. There are also a few great wine bars in Weston-super-Mare but I don’t want to tell you where everything is otherwise where is the fun in going out and finding that perfect place for a nice drink after a fantastic dinner.
