Spanning a massive 8000 sq. ft., the new store is a significant investment in the region and a major win for local shoppers. This landmark location will be the first store in the country to trade under the new sub-brand, "The Entertainer, Toys for Less."
The arrival of the toy giant isn't just about retail; it's about bringing more joy and affordable toys to the local community. By offering world-class brands like LEGO, Barbie, and Paw Patrol at exclusive outlet prices, The Galleria is making it easier than ever for families to find the names they love without having to leave the county.
This landmark opening further strengthens The Galleria’s diverse retail mix, which already features household favourites such as M&S, Le Creuset, and Waterstones. The new store will also be a one-stop-shop for developmental play, featuring The Entertainer's popular own brands Early Learning Centre, Addo, and Meccano.
"We see The Galleria as more than just a shopping centre; we are a community hub where families come to make memories," says Graham Clark, Leasing Director at The Galleria. "Adding The Entertainer to our mix alongside our cinema and family dining creates a complete day out for our guests. We are thrilled to provide a space where local children can discover their next favourite toy at a price their parents will love."
The grand opening on Saturday 30th May is set to be a highlight of the local calendar, kicking off a summer of family-focused fun at the centre. This addition reinforces The Galleria’s ongoing commitment to being at the heart of Hatfield’s retail and leisure scene, providing high-quality experiences and exceptional value for every visitor.
Andrew Murphy OBE, Group Chief Executive Officer of The Entertainer, says: "We are delighted to bring our biggest outlet store to date to The Galleria. As the UK’s largest toy retailer, we’re proud to offer even better value on the toys and games that spark imagination. We can't wait to welcome the Hatfield community through our doors very soon."
