Visitors will be able to explore a range of independent businesses and makers, discover handcrafted products, meet community organisations and take part in activities for all ages.
The weekend will also feature an ‘Express Yourself’ creative corner, where visitors can create artwork to be displayed, alongside games and activities for younger visitors.
A key highlight of this year’s event will be a new Black history exhibition, exploring Black history, achievements and experiences through stories from both the past and present. Supported by A2Dominion’s Black History Month 365 Fund, the exhibition has been developed with the aim of being shared with schools and community organisations beyond the October event.
The Galleria’s continued partnership with Hatfield Cultural Connection CIC marks the fourth year the centre has hosted the celebration, which has become an established part of Hatfield’s community calendar.

The event is delivered by volunteers from Hatfield Cultural Connection CIC, whose work focuses on creating accessible community events that bring people together and encourage learning, creativity and connection.
The Black History Month Cultural Pop-Up Market & Workshop Weekend takes place at The Galleria Hatfield on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026.
