A few ideas to keep the whole family entertained this Easter Holidays
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:
Irchester Country Park is running an Explorers Trail. Available daily from Quarrymans Rest Cafe. £2 per pack includes a small prize. Suitable for children aged 5 to 10 years
Santa Pod has an action packed weekend planned for April Friday 22nd to Monday 25th 2011 with the Auto Trader Easter Thunderball "Motorsport Extravaganza"
Stanwick Lakes has a network of over 7 miles of footpaths/cycle paths (wheelchair accessible). In addition to circular routes around the lakes there is a four mile linear route running from Irthlingborough towards Thrapston, providing safe off-road walking and cycling.
If you haven't had your bike out much over the winter it might be worth getting it serviced, or if you need a new one, go and see Darren and Avril at Cyclelife in Wellingborough they have a fantastic range of bikes, accessories and do on site repairs aswell.
Feeling Creative: Watch chainsaw carving demonstrations, and take part in a community willow sculpture or make a dream catcher to take home at Stanwick Lakes on the Thursday 21st April 2011, 11am - 4pm.
Stanwick Lakes have a fun run, 5km, 10km, and half-marathon to Celebrate St George's Day on April 24 starting at 10:00am. Enter online at www.ultramarathon.org.uk (it could be the way to work off all that chocolate!)

The Jungle Park in Irchester is open ever day - great fun and adventure for the whole family in an exciting and safe environment! There are two courses, Adventurer Course for age 4+ and Explorer Course for teens and adults.
