A celebration including some readings, some music, and some silent meditation

The “spring equinox” or vernal equinox is the time of year when the day and night are of equal lengths. As we approach summer, the days will get longer and warmer. Surely a good reason for a celebration, and in fact cultures worldwide have celebrated the vernal equinox in various ways for thousands of years.

In 2019 at our chapel, we will have a celebration including some readings, some music, and some silent meditation. We will reflect on the turning of the year, and the turning of our lives, in a simple service. After the service, there will be some refreshments and tea and coffee.

All are welcome to this free service. We’ll start at 7 pm on the 20th of March and the service will last about an hour.
