Although many exhibits still there from my childhood, it remains very interesting. The kids do ask me "if it was all fields when you were young". Yes, and it was black and white also. The Museum is always worth a visit when your in town, and not just for rainy days.

The British Historical Taxidermy Society visited this museum recently. It was found to be a museum of great charm and character. It is like stepping back into the heyday of victorian collecting, with many interesting objects which provides something of interest for every one of all ages.

The natural history collections would be of great interest to younger natural history deficient children i'm sure.

All in all a great museum with friendly dedicated staff. Please keep this museum as is so we can all enjoy museums 'how they used to be

We visited the Museum in Feb half term to attend the craft sessions. we found the session to be very interesting and well run. The children had a wonderful time making casks with masking tape and modelling clay. We were very impressed with the staff in the building as they were so helpful. We will be certainly be returning in the future.

Staff very enthusiastic. Although close to closing for the day, the caretaker went around the place with me and pointed out interesting stuff and gave some history.

Me and my boyfriend were bored in town one day and couldn't think of anything to do, while talking and wondering around we walked past the museum so we thought we would go. We actually really enjoyed it and we must of been in there for about 2 hours, there was a roman armour suit there that you could try on which I did and we had a good laugh about that. There was some interesting facts I found out about that I never knew about and probably never would if I didn't go to the museum.

For a small local museum it runs a good variety of exhibitions and the holiday activities for small children are very good.

I love going to Warrington Museum, it doesn't seem to get that many visitors though and its really interesting. They have different exhibitions on, in the gallery all the time, not just paintings, some lovely old photos of Warrington in a bygone age.

Well worth a visit and it has had a face lift too! See if you can find the mummy! Park in a paid car park though...An hour free street side car parking is not long enough!
