Dirty Canvas Club returns to the Troubadour for their 'NO STOPPING PARTY' special - A Night In Celebration Of The Rolling Stones Summer Tour.

We've been fortunate enough to have the legendary London Rockers The Dirty Strangers and their club of dirtiness here every month since September 2017. This June we have their 'NO STOPPING PARTY' special.

The Dirty Strangers - A London based Rock'N'Roll band carrying a torch for rootsy Rock'N'Roll as invented by Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent and Chuck Berry, but laced with a little bit of Otis Redding Soul and a side order of Punk attitude. Arresting and Seductive, Its Dirty Rock'N'Roll and you'll like it. Famed for gigging widely over the past 3 decades and working alongside such stars as Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Bobby Keys (The Rolling Stones) Brian James (The Damned / Lords Of The New Church), John Sinclair (MC5), Guy Griffin, Guy Bailey (The Quireboys) Dave 'Bucket' Colwell (Bad Company / Humble Pie) Bernie Torme (ex Gillan / Ozzy Osbourne Band) and Phil Spalding (Mick Jagger, Roger Daltrey) among others....

Special Guest Guitarist - Guy Griffin (The Quireboys)

Special Guest Support - Taurus Trakker - "We began in 2006, when Allison and I recorded demos. The results were so encouraging that we were empowered to recruit a bassist and take the band out. We added Denise Page to our lineup, and played our first show headlining London's famous 12-Bar Club. It felt good, and we recorded our first album on an old 8-track machine, with a total lack of production. We titled it Between a Bank and a Funeral Parlour, a reference to the location of our studio.
Mick Jones, ex of The Clash, took an instant liking to our rough-house recording, and when we staged a Joe Strummer Memorial show in 2008, Mick asked us, along with members of Hard Fi, to back him on some Clash songs, which was a great honour."

Followed by Rock N Roll abandon at the Dirty Secrets afterhours club, with DJ Cruel Valentino until 2am.
