What. A. Night.
From the moment the first beat dropped, our DJ had the entire room buzzing – they knew exactly how to keep the dance floor alive! Every tune was a hit, and even my nan was up showing off her moves.
The photo booth was an absolute winner – hilarious props, instant prints, and way too many questionable poses from the groomsmen. We’ve already filled an album with memories from it!
And let’s not forget the doughnut wall… hands down the biggest crowd-pleaser. We barely got through the first dance before guests were lining up for a taste.
Massive thank you to everyone who made the night unforgettable. Still can’t believe how perfectly it all came together!

What. A. Night! I had the absolute honour of being bridesmaid for the beautiful Sophie and her stunning wife Danielle Richards – and wow, their wedding was unforgettable from start to finish!
The venue was breathtaking, but it was JABS Event Hire who truly brought the magic. The DJ kept the dancefloor buzzing all night, dropping tune after tune. The first dance? Straight out of a fairytale! Dry ice rolled across the floor like a cloud while indoor sparklers lit up the room – total goosebumps moment.
Later in the night, the confetti cannons went off right as the beat dropped – the whole place went wild! I’ve been to a lot of weddings, but this one? Next level.
Huge thanks to JABS Event Hire for creating a party none of us will ever forget. Sophie and Danielle, you nailed it!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin – our wedding day was nothing short of magical! I’m Emma Cartwright, the new Mrs, and I just have to give the biggest shout-out to JABS Event Hire for helping us create the most unforgettable night.
From the moment the DJ kicked off the music, the dance floor was packed – the energy was electric! When the first dance started, the dry ice floated across the floor making it look like we were dancing on clouds – I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
Then came the wow moments – those indoor sparklers lit up the room like pure magic, and the confetti cannons were the perfect touch to celebrate our big “I do!” It honestly felt like we were in our very own fairytale.
Our guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the atmosphere was – and neither have we! If you want a wedding that people will remember forever, JABS Event Hire are the team you need. They made our dream day come true!

In November 2024, Roxanne W said about J.A.B.S Event Hire
I had the pleasure of attending an event at the Village Hotel in Swindon on Saturday, 9th November 2024, where the incredible night was headlined by the talented Take That tribute band, Totally TakeThat.
While the band itself delivered a spectacular performance, it was the DJ who truly elevated the evening to unforgettable heights.
My husband and I, both in our 50s and seasoned party-goers, were blown away by the DJ’s exceptional ability to engage and energize the crowd. From classic anthems to modern-day hits, he played all the floor fillers with an uncanny sense of timing. It felt as if he’d anticipated every moment of the night and traveled back in time to perfect the setlist. His seamless transitions and expert track selections ensured that the dance floor stayed packed from start to finish.
The event was attended by upwards of 150 people, and everyone was thoroughly entertained. The room was buzzing with celebrations, including several birthdays and two lively hen parties. The DJ masterfully brought everyone together, involving all of the groups in the fun. One of the standout moments of the night was when he orchestrated multiple conga lines, creating a playful and interactive atmosphere. The highlight came when he cleverly combined the seven or eight individual conga lines into one massive, joyous conga chain that wrapped through the entire venue.
What also impressed me was the DJ’s professional appearance. He was dressed smartly in a uniform with his company’s logo, exuding a polished and sophisticated image I’ve never seen with any other DJ company. This attention to detail, paired with his engaging personality and outstanding musical expertise, set him apart as an exceptional performer.
In summary, the DJ at the Village Hotel Swindon turned a great event into an extraordinary one. His talent for reading the room, involving the crowd, and creating a perfect musical journey was unparalleled. I can’t recommend him highly enough, he truly made the night one to remember!

My baby shower was held here on the 9th September, and I can't stress enough how amazing the venue and members of staff are.
They were very accommodating on how we wanted to decorate the room and didn't mind us bringing our own decorations and decorating ourselves. Food was served promptly once all guests had arrived, but the members of staff allowed us to chat amongst ourselves, get up and walk around and play some games. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the function. We paid £15 pp for Afternoon tea, the food was lovely, and the staff again took on board any dietary requirements and ensured everyone was happy.I would definitely recommend the cafe for any type of function, and will be popping in after my baby is born for a bite to eat and a hot drink.

This restaurant used to be known as Balti Nights and was taken over a couple of years ago after being empty for some time. We have been frequent visitors over the last 12 months.
The food is always excellent and the staff are very informative if you want to try something new.
The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and people shouldn't be put off because it's on the edge of the dual carriageway. The interior is just fab there is a room upstairs for private functions.
The other great thing about this place is you can take your own booze. So that keeps your bill down.
Great Food, Great Staff - I have read the two bad reviews on here and call me cynical, but I wonder if they were people from another local restaurant.
We will def be returning

Being one of our many local Indian restaurants - and I walk past another 4 to get to Spice Lounge - it comes highly recommended. The menu is quite comprehensive and the staff friendly and helpful. If you want a little extra heat in a particular dish, they are happy to oblige. Set on one side of a dual carriageway between Wolverhampton and Willenhall, you would think that this would impact on how busy the place is, but you would be wrong - so best to book in advance if you can, especially on the "specials" nights (we love a bargain...)
Me and 4 friends decided to try Spice Lounge when our usual curry house became a bit pricey and quality slipped, and have been going there fortnightly for what must be 4 years now. Great that you can take your own booze too....we have also had family birthdays and other celebrations there (they do have an upstairs room for separate functions too).Well worth a visit. As noted earlier the food is consistently good, and you won't be paying an exotic price.
