First of all we looked at many venues for our wedding which was on the 07/09/19 calderfields was our first we looked at out of about 6 but nothing had what calderfields had in views for photos and price
.
From the moment we picked the venue for our special day and night it was the right decision we had the ceremony and reception at the venue.
First we can't say enought about the events manager SHANNON she was golden from start to finish there was nothing that she would not do for us we had no stress at all which she was envolved in she is a credit to calderfields.
The venue itself is a very friendly place and plenty of parking and space in bar and the events rooms.

The meals are great here no matter if you are at an event, special occasion or just going to the restaurant for a quite meal and drink (compliments to the chef) i would reccomend this place and the staff are always smiling and always there to help oh ye the breakfast is a must
.
we stopped in there log cabins and i can honestly say that they are as good as some well known hotels they are clean have plenty of room and have all the facilites you require for a good nights stay and they are a reasonable price there are 21 rooms and they all look over the golf course.
The bar prices are not to bad either and the bar staff are very friendly and helpful.
Over all i would recommend you have a look a this venue for your wedding , special occassion or you have an event you would be surprised of what calderfields do offer

We have a great time at the Bavarian night. The room is very nice and the food is lovely. For £20 you got a meal, a band and a disco afterwards. Bar staff were very quick serving and all the staff were good. There is also a big car park. Would definately go to other events here.

I would just like to say a huge thanks to you all at Calderfields for making my surprise party as part of the night.....I was truly shocked at how John and others had arranged it and kept it a secret .
Thanks to the club for our complimentary bottles of wine ..it was a lovely gesture .
Everyone had such a fantastic time and many laughs
Cannot fault the event at all .... congratulations to you and the wonderful team every event we have been to at Calderfields has been magnificent in every way
All the staff from waiters bar staff to management are so friendly and make Calderfields such a fabulous place to celebrate any occasion

We go to Calderfields for a carvery on a regular basis. It’s always busy so I would recommend booking. The staff are very friendly and the location is lovely overlooking the Golf Course. The food is excellent with a great selection of Meat and vegetables. Everything is piping hot. If you can manage starters and dessert they have a really good selection and it’s all very reasonably priced.

Visited today for a family members 80th birthday, we all had 3 courses which all were delicious, the carvery was very good with excellent meat & lots of vegetables for choice & all were piping hot, big thanks to our waitress Bekki ( I believe was her first day ) was excellent, very attentive & nothing too much trouble.

Brilliant evening at The Best of Walsall Business Networking event recently held at Calderfields. A wonderful evening enjoyed by all. I would like to thank the whole Calderfields team for dealing with my peanut allergy and taking it seriously, while still being able to cater for me. The carvery meal was delicious with plenty of choices and the separate nut-free dessert prepared was lovely.
Unfortunately, it is rare that places take allergies seriously or bother to cater for allergy needs so this is something I really appreciated. Other venues and restaurants should follow Calderfields in this way. Please pass my comments on to the team and the chef. Very impressed and I am sure other people with allergys would not have a problem at Calderfields.

Visited Calderfields for a lunch catch-up with friends. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the small dining room, where we were served by Becky. She was a friendly, helpful and attentive member of staff, who went that extra mile to answer our questions - thank you Becky. The food was freshly cooked and nicely presented. We will certainly return.

I would highly recommend Calderfields to celebrate your special occasions. Today we celebrated a friends baby shower and the event organisers were very welcoming. Dave, Adam, Becca and Acacia thankyou so much! From start to finish you couldn't have done anymore for us. The food was delicious and great value for money and the room was beautifully decorated.
All in all, a brilliant venue, most wonderful and friendly staff and Emma was delighted.

Went here with family for afternoon tea. Beautiful location, staff very friendly and efficient. Tea was very good with an abundance of tea or coffee, of varying varieties. Lots of cakes and good variety of finger sandwiches.

Family Carvery trip to Calderfields. It was the first time we had visited so we had high expectations.
The service throughout the meal was very good. We were seated very quickly and drinks orders taken.
Starter wasn’t bad however there weren’t many prawns hiding under the huge portion of sauce on the prawn cocktail.
The Carvery wasn’t bad. Great choice of vegetables and meat. However I felt the Carvery was let down a little by what looked like almost burnt roast potatoes and a one size fits all gravy. The gravy in my opinion was too strong for port and would have been way to strongly flavoured for turkey.
Despite the negatives I would certainly give the Calderfields another go as the atmosphere and service were very good and maybe the potatoes were a one off.
