We've been to Da Vinci's many times over the years and have always had a great night out.
My wife and I went there yesterday (1st May) for our 25th Anniversary and once again we had a smashing time.....the food was excellent as was the atmosphere, and the staff friendly and attentive, Oh and the ice cold Peroni...wonderful.
Car parking can be a bit of a problem on a busy night but there is usually spaces outside the shops on the other side of the road.

After 35 years, I revisited the Leather Museum with my mother, who had taken me to the museum when I was a child. On this trip, I had the opportunity to take my 10 year old son.

Being born and brought up in Walsall, I wanted my son to know the history of the town. The visit was educational and fun too!

The building itself is beautiful and transports you back to the historical days of leather- making.

We were warmly welcomed at the entrance doors. This kind gentleman who had worked at the museum for 30 years met us with the same enthusiasm you would expect of someone on their first day at work.

Alongside the videos, we had live demonstrations of bridle-making from Paul, which was very engaging. He then took us through to Rose, who taught my son, to emboss/make a leather keyring with a design of his choice. Each keyring was 60p and a lovely gift for cousins.

Paul then took us downstairs and make sure we hadn’t missed anything, giving us a personal guided tour at the same time.

We ended with a cuppa at the cafe and some gifts from the gift shop.

The most enjoyable 2 hours spent and perfect to teach and entertain the kids especially when the weather isn’t great for outdoor activities.

This museum is absolutely fantastic! Firstly, it's free. Secondly, the hands-on experience is enjoyable and creative. The exhibits are highly informative and touchable. All the guides are so helpful and answer all questions you might have re. leather production. Lastly, the coffee/tea/hot chocolate offerings are first class and really economical. Visit this museum - to take a break with a cup of coffee, or to admire the authentic Victorian building.
