We recently hired a DJ for my mum's 60th birthday, and she was absolutely fabulous! From start to finish, she was incredibly interactive, reading the room perfectly and keeping the energy high all night. The atmosphere was amazing, and she had the crowd bouncing—everyone was up dancing and having the best time!
We would welcome her back in a heartbeat for any of our future family events. Her ability to engage with the guests and keep the party going was outstanding. This company is just amazing, and I can’t recommend them enough!

We were in need of an office installation in support of a hearing we were conducting in the Derbyshire area. This had to do with delivering furniture (a desk, chair and chest of drawers), installing them in a hotel room, to be collected several weeks later. Although this service was decidedly bespoke in nature, ORS delivered to our utmost satisfaction and arranged with the highest standard of professionalism and courtesy. Thank you Kevin and Ashley.

I have bought two secondhand tambour cupboards from ORS for my home office, and have been thrilled on both occasions. The items are very high quality and excellent condition at a very reasonable price. Ordering via the website is easy and I have also found their customer services very helpful. The deliveries were to a ground floor room and care was taken with the cupboards and my property. I would highly recommend this company for offering high quality goods, excellent value for money, careful delivery and friendly efficient service all round. Thank you

Our works Christmas party was taken to another level thanks to the incredible DJ from Jabs Event Hire. From the moment the music started, the dance floor was packed — and it stayed that way all night. My husband and I could barely feel our feet by the end, and we weren’t the only ones!
The DJ had an amazing ability to read the room, keeping the momentum going with every track. It’s honestly the most fun I’ve had at a Christmas party as an adult. The atmosphere was electric, the vibes were high, and the night flew by in the best possible way.

For our June wedding, we pulled out all the stops and hired a DJ, 360 booth, dry ice, and indoor sparklers — and the result was nothing short of spectacular. The team in the office were a dream to work with: super responsive, organised, and genuinely lovely. On the night, the special effects were breathtaking — the dry ice and sparklers transformed the room and gave us that wow-factor moment. And the DJ? An absolute powerhouse. He brought the energy, read the room perfectly, and had the dance floor packed all night. It was vibrant, unforgettable, and everything we imagined — pure magic from start to finish.

Jay comes very highly recommended! So friendly and professional from our first phone call and consultation meeting, all the way through to our special night. Jay went above and beyond to make our wedding reception perfect, reading the room like an absolute boss! Even protecting me from a blood-sucking gnat at one point (thanks again). Jay drove all the way from Shell Island (Wales) for our night, to then drive back straight after, if that's not dedication then what is?! A great guy who is guaranteed to make you laugh and make your special occasion perfect, we can see why Jay's Discos has so many awards, you really won't be disappointed! Very reasonably priced, and a 5* service to go alongside. Matty and I can't thank you enough for everything you did, we will definitely use you again in the future, thank you so much!

I was looking for something to entertain my guests at my wedding reception, I met with Jamie and Abigail and we discussed every aspect of my wedding, I wasn't expecting this, as I just thought that they would be bothered about the entertainment, but they helped me with so much more.
in the meeting, we discussed every aspect of the wedding, this was showing me and my husband to be, how much knowledge they have when it comes to weddings.
we decided to book The Ultimate wedding package (DJ), 2 casino tables to keep our guests entertained before the room was turned around, a photobooth (this was so much fun, and our pics where fantastic) we also booked the candy cart, post box and Love letters.
our overall experience with Jabs events was fantastic, they truly know what they are doing, nothing was to much effort.
I cannot recommend them enough, my sister and best friend have also now booked their weddings with Jabs events, this alone should tell you how good they where.

Fantastic service! I swapped a couple of emails with Kevin over the weekend regarding what I was looking for and by Monday 4pm I had placed an order and made payment over the phone. I stressed that I needed delivery by the following Monday and was told he would do his best for me.
1pm the next day I got a call to say the delivery driver was 30 mins away. The furniture was put in the upstairs room I needed and assembled.
The products themselves were great value but the cost to have them delivered and assembled was fantastic.

I just wanted to say how amazing my mom and dad’s wedding day was thanks jabs event hire. Everything looked incredible from start to finish. The DJ kept everyone dancing all night, and the photo booth was definitely my favourite part—so many funny pictures! The doughnut wall was a massive hit too, and I may have visited it more times than I should…
The glowing LOVE letters made the room look magical, and I’ve never seen my parents so happy. It was a perfect day, and I’m glad I got to be part of it.

Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything came together perfectly, and JABS Event Hire made sure the night was unforgettable. The DJ kept everyone on their feet all night — the dancefloor was never empty! The starlit dancefloor looked absolutely magical, it gave the whole room such a romantic glow.
Guests couldn’t get enough of the doughnut wall, it was such a fun touch and looked beautiful too! Every little detail was handled perfectly, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better service.
