I visited Calderfields Golf and Country Club to attend a 30th birthday party. We were a very large group and they did a good job of taking our starter orders and serving them almost immediately. The carvery was nice, but those who had ordered fish were left waiting a while for them to be cooked. There was also a very long wait at the bar, despite there not being many people there to serve.
Overall, the service was poor, the location was nice and the food was good.

Love this place, excellent staff, service and location, can be very scenic looking over the golf course. They put on lot of good evening events on as well as offering a reasonably priced Sunday Carvery. I would highly recommend this to family and friends.
