We used five rivers for the catering for our wedding last August. The food is amazing- some of the best indian food I have ever tasted. On the day itself the service from their staff was faultless and we received so many compliments from our guests about them. However the reason we have given 3 stars was because the confirming and tasting experience wasn't so smooth. After having arranged our food tasting, we turned up to discover that there was no such booking, despite us having an email confirmation. And they couldn't accommodate a food tasting. This was inconvenient for us as we had travelled up from London specifically for this. This meant we had to make a second trip. There was a problem with emails too and we didn't receive our final food choice confirmation until a week before the wedding. This was quite a stressful time so wasn't something we enjoyed and made us worry about how they would be on the day itself. However in the end it was all fine and the day went smoothly.

We hired out the Five River's restaurant for our son's 1st birthday.<br><br>From our initial enquiry, to menu changes and table layouts, to specific allergy requests, nothing was too much for Hamza and his team. He was always responsive to emails and calls, friendly and professional. He was also present for our entire event to ensure it ran smoothly.<br><br>The food, most importantly, was of the very highest standard. Every single guest complimented the food- how tasty it was, how well it was presented and the variety. A fine dining experience was received by everyone.<br><br>We look forward to future events with Five Rivers and working with Hamza again.

We recently got married in the National Motorcycle Museum on 2nd April.. We had Five Rivers cater for us. I cannot speak highly enough of the service they provided. It was absolutely exemplary and I highly recommend Five Rivers for any occasion. We had the group director take charge on the day and everything went so smoothly. They are very organised and professional. We are so happy and grateful for a very memorable and special day. Our guests were very happy and the food was world class!

Booked them for my wedding... but wouldn't go back to the restaurant. If you have members who are vegetarian and others who eat meat - let them know before hand because it seems as though it would be common practice for them to mix the two together as i have found out on a visit to the restaurant.
