A Nice Big town centre pub with a traditional feel to it , situated in an old court , I'm told the cells still remain beneath the cellars. Usually more than 10 real ales on tap which are well kept . Good choice of food is served until 8pm ( which is very tasty ) well worth a visit

Good traditional pub with a serious amount of real ales to savour and all fresh and well kept. Ciders also excellent. Good friendly customers and staff. Really good smoking area for the lepers of society like me that actualy insanely enjoy tobacco with a pint.

I love this place. I have been a few times over the years. Great ales and service and as BCA pubs go good ale prices. The layout is very interesting with a multitude of areas for the solo drinker who wants to be one with the ale and groups on the ale. 😊
