Had a very nice meal here one weekday evening. Standard pub fare in the menu (if you exclude the excellent choice on the Indian menu), but nice enough.
Portions were fine and the meal was cooked well. Enjoyed it, nothing special, but would recommend and certainly go again.

We’ve been several times since the new owners have taken over , and all I can say is that we’ve had a very warm welcome , the surroundings are fabulous , the food is amazing , and all the staff are great . Love it .. x

We were very impressed with our meal .Adele the waitress was very efficient and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing .I had lamb shank ,two had curries ,two had pies and we were all very happy and have booked to return .

The wife and I called in for lunch which we used to do fairly often till it closed down this was the first time since. Very disappointed it was ok but nothing special l did tell the waitress as l left that the chips were under cooked, l probably will try it again because it is local .

Had an absolutely delicious meal at the ivy house tonight! Staff were friendly, helpful and really hospitable especially Sophie! Thank you for all your attention to detail and kind thoughts, will definitely come back, service was second to none! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

First time we came here to meet friends who are previous fans of this public house.
We were served by a really bubbly lady who make nice conversation and made you feel welcome.
We waited for our table to be ready which took around 10 minutes. The place was extremely busy. We were seated to our table. The menu was very extensive offering English and Indian food . Shortly our food order was taken. Food arrived I had the Piri Piri chicken with chips salad coleslaw. The chicken piece was very big and looked delicious. The staff are young however they did a very fantastic job of trying to serve everybody. They were rushed of their feet however still
