The Ivy House had a difficult period a couple of years ago with a few owners. This period is over. The pub is settled and reliable. Both the Indian and English menus are superb as is the food and the service and the beer. Try it. Highly recommended.

Very sorry to say that the food was no better than average for the money. The chips were greasy and the plates weren't well presented, but the curry was good. Desert was okay but a bit dry. Service was slow as the restaurant was very busy - took a long time to get a food order in.
Outside of the food, however, I would add that this pub remains one of my favourite places in Bloxwich to go for a drink - great atmosphere, lovely beer garden, great community feel. Would go again for a drink.
