We went to calderfields for a retirement meal, there were 20 of us a mixture of ages from 29 to 70 and we all enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly , helpful and well presented. We all had the three course Sunday carvery and no one could fault it. The roast beef was just so tender and we all made comment on how nice it was it was just melt in the mouth. So if you are looking for some where to go for Sunday lunch I would definitely recommend calderfields.

Visited Calderfield with 9 golfing friends from St Annes and had a great time! Lodges were fantastic and course in great nick considering the amount of rain the day before we arrived! Special shout out to Tony 'The Cartman' who was brilliant! Nothing was to much trouble! £49 for overnight stay inc breakfast and 36 holes absolute bargain! Will definately be returning!

Well what can I say, well done again Calderfields for hosting a fantastic charity fun day raising money for Birmingham Children's Hospital, there was fun for all the family, bouncy castles, face painting a really yummy BBQ on what was a glorious day. Thank you for a very memorable day 😀

First of all this is one of the best restaurants for a friendly welcome and great service.
We have visited several times as a large family group and a family wake.
The food is lovely, generous carvery portions and great roasts.

We booked a Sunday Lunch at the Calderfieds to celebrate my wife's birthday with the family on arrival we were made to feel very welcome and shown to our table .The waitress came and asked for our drinks order which was delivered to our table very quick, starters order was taken and delivered to the table in the same high standard,the Carvery was very good and all our family enjoyed the meal and the staff were very good we shall return!!

The accommodation is fairly basic but adequate for an overnight stay when playing golf. The room service have tea, coffee facilities and all the other usual gubbins. The downside to staying here is although the bar opening times state 7-12 it shut at 7.30. Also when arriving for breakfast we had to wait for the chef to start cooking which meant the staff had to explain the wait. First impressions are everything and unfortunately they let themselves down on this one.

A group of us visited again Sunday for a fabulous Carvery. It really is stunningly good, and what makes it so nice is that it's cooked in a home cooked style. Pigs in blankets on tap, and the best cauliflower cheese around ! Top service as always and a lovely view down the 18th hole and log cabins. What's not to like !!

1st time visit to calderfields for a sunday CARVERY it was the best ever for me and my husband there were 13 of us for a 90th birthday party . staff was very nice worked hard always came and ask us if we wanted any more drinks and very helpfull will be returning very soon .

Attentive staff, great food and lovely atmosphere.
My family had such a lovely afternoon here and would definitely return. I have allergies and they were catered for. My in-laws had never eaten out at Christmas before so wanted to make sure they enjoyed and they definitely did! They loved the food and atmosphere, so that was a huge positive (they also want to visit to try the carvery when they are next around).
The staff were very professional and attentive - we asked for a few extra things over dinner and received them in minutes.
Overall it was a great afternoon enjoyed by all of the family. I would definitely recommend.
