An absolutely amazing night spent at Pigeons Parlour. I booked this surprise party for my best friends 60th birthday. Every one of us had a great night. The food was fantastic and so was the entertainment. All the other customers joined in our celebrations and it felt like a big family gathering. We all can’t wait to go back again soon. Thanks to all involved with making our night so special.

What a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Such a lovely atmosphere, it was like having tea at my Nan's house when I was a child.<br>The staff were all friendly and very chatty and the afternoon tea was top notch! All lovely and fresh with a good choice of sandwiches and cakes, with plenty of tea to wash it all down. We shall definitely be returning with the rest of the family to experience the Friday evening entertainment.<br>Keep calm and carry on the good work ladies. 😘

I have visited pigeons parlour during the day for lunch and of an evening for the music evenings with both friends and family. Every visit has been exceptional both with the food , delightful service and ambiance. The atmosphere is warmly and food excellent. The surroundings take you back to “the old days” as my dad said, many a story from him regarding ration books etc which are on show. Just a delightful place to enjoy lunch/ evening food and entertainment.

This little gem is unique!! Set among ordinary shops (including a tattoo parlour) it is a time warp to the 1940's. You are welcomed immediately by staff who are family members or friends. Your menu is a Ration Book, Food is excellent, Afternoon teas to die for. Always a special "Happy Birthday to you" from all staff on your special day. Doubles as a Gin parlour on Friday nights with entertainment!! All occasions catered for! My Tuesday afternoons would not be the same without my "Pigeon's Parlour. Unmissable!!!

What a fantastic place this is not only offering a good selection of tasty food and drinks but also giving people the opportunity to reminisce of times gone by. People of all ages visit and it’s lovely to see everyone talking or having a sing-a-long instead of being glued to their phones or watching TV screens.
They also have live entertainment on at no charge - it really is an asset to the community.
All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
It is refreshing to have a place to visit where you feel the community spirit.

Fancied a curry and found this place on Google, seemed rated well enough so gave it a go.<br><br>The staff are spot on, really friendly and attentive, happy and polite, this is a good start.<br><br>Menu is definately more a la carte in design but plenty to choose from.<br><br>The food itself is all fresh looking and tasted amazing. A starter, main with rice and a Sag side had me stuffed with leftovers.<br><br>It's not the cheapest place around, but as in life you get what you pay for.<br><br>Great venue for entertaining clients, out with friends or you want to impress on a date night, the cocktails looked nice.<br><br>Not a place for taking the mini you' s though
