My uncles had there wedding here 29/5/25 what a superb day food fab and hot staff very helpful and polite event planner went out of her way to make sure all went well rooms we stayed in was lovely beds very comfortable and everyone worked as a team to.make this day very special I would highly recommend calderfields

First rate venue for events. Our friends held their wedding ceremony and celebration party here. The events team were superb. Professional with a friendly calm approach. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks to Linda and all the team (Dan, Rachel and all)

We attended a family wedding and the service was second to none from start to finish. Attention to detail was faultless.Food for sit down meal and buffet on the evening was perfect. Any request made throughout the day was quickly done. All staff went above and beyond. Thank you for making the day extra special

Had a decent weekend at Calderfields with a group of fellow golfers, cabins were adequate although very warm & the mattresses too soft. Great meal on the Sunday, the remains of the lunchtime carvery, massive portion & mostly well cooked although Yorkshires were too hard & overcooked, should have carried a health warning, nearly took domes eye out trying to cut, & nearly broke my teeth when I finally got a piece small enough to fit in my mouth. Drinks were reasonably priced & good quality.
It’s a nice golf course, very flat so suitable for older golfers, but the greens were awful, pitted, bobbly & grass a bit long, needed some serious TLC, if sorted this would be a 4-5 star review

It was our first visit, and we used the Sunday carvery. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was OK, but somewhat lukewarm. We were pleased that the carvery offers a vegetarian option – a filo tart – but it could have been more interesting if it had vegetables rather than pulses. The venue was crowded and a bit noisy, although we were pleased that there was no loud musack to make conversation difficult. There is ample parking, since it is on a large site. We might return to have a bar meal when the place is less busy.

Beds a very comfortable and clean
Room are adequate for the price you pay.food we found to be very good and quite varied for the bargain price we paid.we found the staff really friendly and helpful.golf course was a little rough around the edges but the unusually dry weather was probably to blame for that.all in all a very good experience and would certainly recommend.

We arrived on a Friday morning about 10:30 ,we were teeing off at midday . The car park was pretty full but plenty of spaces .There is a Jurassic park crazy golf next to the hotel which looked well supported . Went into Hotel nice and clean bar area on the right , straight through for golf area , Ordered breakfast which was part of the package .Unfortunately it was cold everything looked fresh so we were disapointed.
When everyone had arrived we were informed to leaves details for evening meal before we went to golf shop, register for golf nice and easy , Buggys ready for those who had them booked, After golf checked into the cabins a short walk from the car park , cabins are cosy , big shower and room is well big enough for two , After all its only to sleep in ! 18th hole outside the front door . The golf shop is well stocked and the guys are very helpful nothing to much trouble . The course is tight and tree lined on most holes ,Its good nick considering the weather we have had . Friday is curry night with a quiz which was well attended we had the curry !! it was tasteless and the pitta bread was plain and cold . Its a shame because , Breakfast in the morning was spot on !! and Saturday night menu of a roast went down well , It was exceptional . Breakfast next morning Ok . Sunday carvery again very well attended , We didnt eat because golfing . Give this place a go the set up is perfect . Just a couple of things to iron out and my opinion 10 out of ten .everyone of the staff polite and very helpful 5 star .

Massive carpark and it's free to use. Check in is at the golf club reception and all information is given.
The rooms are set in the grounds of the golf club and the pathway isn't lit very well when it's dark! We used my phone torch to see the way and number!
The room itself was a good size as was the shower room.
Very warm room
The shower was hot and powerful.
The bed was comfortable even though it was a single bed!
WiFi non existent and phone signal was poor!
Clubhouse restaurant was good, excellent value and good choice of menu.
The location is set in the countryside of walsall, great if you're playing golf!
Would probably use again if in the area.

Went today for my husband 65th birthday meal . We booked for 3pm wich was fine 20 of us . Carvery was lovely but some food was cold . Will try again abit later in the year and have a earlier time to see if there is any difference
