We attended afternoon Tea for a friends baby shower, staff were really friendly and polite and Liam (Woolridge) in particular was really helpful when we needed things last minute! Thanks again and we will sure attend again!

What a lovely place! Everything was spot on. The Buffet Sunday dinner was lovely and so well priced. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Liam. Who made the experience really fun. You should be really proud of your staff, they are a credit to you…..

First visit for Sunday lunch and what a fantastic Carvery. A great selection and lovely and fresh. All of the staff were polite and attentive but a special mention for Liam who looked after our party impeccably. We will definitely be back !!

Aldridge Rock Choir had our Christmas party at Calderfields and once again had an amazing time. As the organiser I was able to liaise with Julie and Carmel who were absolute stars!! Quick to respond and so efficient!
On the evening, Donna sorted out our tables quickly and with a smile. The food was excellent, with everyone on each table served at the same time by obviously well trained waiting staff. The food was hot and the dietary requirements of some of our party were well met. The DJ and band- the Black Country Beatles -were great! We sang a lot and danced a lot. Thank you for making our party a great event. We shall be back next year!

From booking the meal with Julie and her team who were amazing to arriving and the atmosphere was amazing.
The lady on front of the house has done an amazing job. Liam behind the bar with his conversation was just so lovely . Neil who waited on us was charming and my father in law and husband enjoyed his chat.

We would both like to thank you and your team very much indeed for the help and assistance at the Golf Club last Thursday for the “Celebration of Life” for our father.
Everyone with whom we dealt at Calderfields was extremely helpful, professional and supportive, whilst maintaining the respect for the occasion. The venue was ideal and the catering exactly as required. Perhaps the best compliment which we can offer is that we were so pleased that we chose Calderfields.

Lovely meal celebrating my birthday with family. Atentive staff, especially Chris, who was there to assist us and help to make it special.
We were here last year for my 70th birthday and also before Christmas, for a Christmas party Elvis tribute night. Both fabulous occasions.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Caulderfields were excellent in hosting our large party for a family reunion. Everyone enjoyed the food and selection available. Plus it was a great central location for us all to meet. Thank you, I’m sure we will be back!

Have dined here several times before and was not impressed on this occasion. Our table was set for three more people than booked for – extra chairs and table settings were not good. Tables were literally crammed in – it was necessary to walk side-ways past other tables/diners, to get back to the table, with a plate full of food- not a good experience. Long queues for the carvery, snaking back into the only free space in the restaurant. Turkey portion was small, Yorkshire puddings, pigs in blankets and stuffing balls were rationed to one per diner (I didn’t want any of these, but this policy came across as ‘penny pinching’). Mash looked awful, a big gloopy, grey mess. Plenty of choice of vegetables, but some were overdone (and I like my vegetables cooked, not crunchy). Gravy was exceptionally thick. So disappointing – felt like tables/diners were being wedged in. There were clearly insufficient waiting staff. Also shocked to discover that tips are not passed on to staff if paying by card (which is mandatory) – luckily we found this out before we made the card payment and found some cash for the tip.
