Came for a three day two night golf break. Staff are friendly and do their best. Rooms are basic and the bed uncomfortable. Food was frankly poor. Golf course ok, quite long but greens in poor condition.

Had a one night business stay in one of the lodges. Overall facilities very good and couldn’t ask for more, quiet location, clean room (basic), lovely meal, all the staff very attentive. But special mention goes to Rhys in the golf shop who went above and beyond. I am only a ‘learner’ and made an impromptu visit to the golf shop. Rhys has a natural ability to make you feel comfortable while talking through the game in a clear structured way. Rhys even went so far as to look at my swing offering (several) tips/guidance to improve, I left with some great homework to practice and this made my stay. I was hugely impressed and If I lived locally I would definitely book all my lessons through Rhys.

I've played here a few times and pleased to see how it's matured. Very nice landscaping with some challenging tree lines shots.

Civil Weddings, Rotary, Party Night and Sunday Lunches. The team is great, food and atmosphere can`t be beaten.

After hearing how good the Sunday carvery is we booked .. service was excellent the food was amazing it is one of the best carveries in the Midlands the meats were cooked to perfection. Really good atmosphere staff were all polite and helpful will defiantly use again

I recently got married at Calderfields and have only the highest praise for the venue. The staff are extremely helpful and went out their way to ensure we had a fantastic day. Aleisha, Richard, Dan and the rest of the staff should be very proud of all their work!
The clubhouse, bar and marquee room are fantastic and the terrace over looking the golf course is excellent. The newly built lodges are of a very high standard and we would happily recommend them to anyone. We would definitely stay again. The quality of food is excellent and incredibly reasonable and the surroundings are very comfortable.
The atmosphere and general mood of Calderfields is exceptional, with everyone more than happy to help and answer any queries you may have. All our guests commented on how fantastic the venue was and they have said they would not hesitate in booking Calderfields for any of their special occasions in the future.
I am also a golfer and from a golf point of view the course is very good. I was a member here as a junior many years ago and the improvements are incredible. The course has matured beautifully and is in excellent condition, the greens are especially good with well struck putts running straight and true. I played here the day before my wedding with Aleisha again more than helpful in organising this. The bar is welcoming and there are excellent changing facilities as well as practice areas, including a driving range, two putting greens and a short game area.
We had breakfast the morning after the wedding and again this was superb with a full cooked breakfast available and a buffet with ample tea, coffee, toast etc.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would just like to say a massive thank you to Calderfields Golf & Country Club and all their excellent staff.

Had reception here following church service and could not have had better experience anywhere. The wedding advisor Alisha is delightful and the general manager Richard is very helpful. The room was set up to perfection exactly as the bride wished. The meal was very good, and the evening buffet provided a good selection of food to suit every taste. The Vegan meal provided was very much appreciated. The waitresses and waiters were very pleasant and did an excellent job.The accommodation in the cabins was a nice touch, even if they were a bit expensive. Breakfast was a very good selection of cold and hot dishes.
A big thank you to all concerned for making their day an excellent experience.
