we went to calderfields on one ot their tribute nights, very entertaining and the food was good too. We were served a three course meal, which was very nice. Beer at the bar wasnt the best according to my partner. On the whole a good night out.

Bank holiday golf break....... can not find anything else to say about this complex but ... "Good" (but wouldn't want to play the course in wet conditions!!!). Excellent value for money. Booked through "Your golf travel"..... good value.

My wife and I spent New Year's Eve here and stayed overnight in the log cabins on the course.The log cabin was more spacious than expected and designed to a high spec it was situated opposite the 18th green and a very short walk to the venue.We had a great night with champagne and canapés reception excellent extensive hot and cold buffet we were entertained by a great singer followed by excellent DJ to let the new year in This was all for £65 each + £30 for the cabin excellent value.This is a family run club and has that friendly personal service ambience.I would certainly go back again they offer an extensive entertainment with food programme for 2015 and I have been told Sunday lunch is excellent so will be returning soon to sample.

Great Sunday lunch overlooking the golf course, just the tonic we needed! Excellent food & desserts, very polite staff, lovely surroundings, also went to the Burns Night which was very good. Will definitely visit again.

7 ladies took a little golf break to Calderfields this weekend and we were absolutely over the moon with our visit. From the moment we arrived we were greated by the most polite and helpful people who just wanted us to have a great time.
The course was wet, but I have to commend the green keeper as the greens were in excellent condition under the circumstances and I can only imagine it is a beautiful place in the summer.
The cabins overlooking the 18th hole are awesome. Modern, clean and very cosy. it was quiet and comfortable, perfect after a game.
The members of the club were friendly and chatted to us making us very welcome. The bar prices are reasonable and the bar staff were absolutely wonderful.
All in all this was a great break and we will definitely be returning. Excellent value for money with excellent customer service.

Today I hosted my sisters baby shower at Calderfields. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to hold this event! The staff were extremely accommodating for the weeks leading up to the big day and today. Every need was met with our guests being treated in the best way possible. We opted for the afternoon tea which was a good price and gave a variety of sandwiches and cakes. All dietary requirements of our guests were met and we received brilliant feedback from them on how they were treated by the staff. The event was held in the conservatory with the views over the golf course. We were able to bring all decorations and the staff kindly assisted us in putting the decorations up and helping us clear up at the end of the day. Overall a successful day in which our guests and my sister enjoyed. It is safe to say that we will be booking Calderfields again for all other events and I would highly recommend it.

I recently took my mom here for afternoon tea and I can highly recommend it, the staff were lovely, the chef was very accommodating and we had a great time. The food and cakes were delicious, offering a good variety and the chef had really gone the extra mile adding edible flowers on the cake stands that he had grown himself, it was nice to try them! The presentation was gorgeous and it was an ideal place for a good old natter over tea and cakes. It was also excellent value for money.

A friend highly recommended Calderfields to me, so on this good advice myself and a few friends decided to go for the Sunday Carvery. As soon as we arrived we were welcolmed and seated immediatly, staff were extremly dilligent and tended to our needs from the moment we arrived till the end of our meal.
The Carvery had a wide selection of choice and the meats were cooked to perfection, very succulent and juicy. I am quite fussy about the flavouring of meat, however I was very pleased as the meats had the right amount of seasoning. The food was excellent by far better than any gastro pub or mitchellin star restaurant i have been to.
The Head Chef was really friendly and accomodated all the diners efficiently when serving them. The plus points of the Calderfields experience for me was the food, the service and the actual restaurant. I will definiatly be coming here again, it would be great if they could do take away meals....

To celebrate a friends 40th birthday, we were one of many tables at the Tribute evening which was inclusive of a three course evening meal, all courses were excellent and served by very polite and experienced staff. My husband and I stayed overnight on one of the log cabins, that were of very comfortable with a very high specification situated overlooking the golf course. The following morning we ordered breakfast in the restaurant which was freshly cooked for us and very reasonably priced at £7.00 for two of us.
