Two friends and I went to he Spice Lounge last Friday night. We had been recommended by a fiends to try it so we did. First impressions are a bit off putting as it is on the main A454 dual carriageway between Wolverhampton and Willenhall and can only be approached from Wolverhampton. The car park is cramped and it looks like it is always full as cars are parked on the front.
On entry we were greeted and shown to a table. The table appeared to be clean and well presented There were a number of tables unoccupied. We asked if we could change to an empty table by the window but were told that that was already pre-booked. We realised that this table was never occupied throughout the whole of our meal there.We ordered poppadoms as a starter and three main courses, Mozo mixed meat dish comprising meat and meatballs in a sauce, a Chicken Korma and a Chicken Rogan Josh which I enjoy and use it as a benchmark for any curry restaurant I visit. Drinks were orange juice, lemonade and water.
The food was very good and the service was reasonable given it was busy. we were asked if the food was satisfactory and did we want anything else. we declined, not because of the quality but we had other appointments to keep.If you want good food in good surroundings be prepared to pay over the odds for it as this was not cheap. The attitude of the staff showed that because we were not regulars we could be told something that appeared to be untrue.
I for one will not be going there again.

Visited last night in a group of five. Excellent service and gorgeous food. Take your own booze as its not licenced. This makes it such a reasonably priced night out. Cost £15 each for two courses with extras like popadoms, rice, nan bread and coffee. Take away are equally lovely. Not the best car park for a popular restaurant. Never had a bad meal here or bad service. Lovely spacious layout inside. Definitely gonna keep going.

Last night curry with my girlfriend after the pub with family and friends went down a treat with one of the best curries we've had in the Black Country with really good and prompt service.
The prices were very reasonable and the portion size were very good at the price.
We'll worth a visit if you find yourselves in the area and you're a fan of a good late night curry like us!

me and my wife go to spice lounge every week the atmosphere is great and relaxed the staff are pleasant and friendly and helpful the food is fantastic and good value for money you can take your own drinks as its not got a licensed bar.i love this place has you can chill out and not be rushed to have a meal like some restaurants do and staff always but themselves out to come and speak to you.i am spoilt for choice on the menu has all the food is great.this place has it all good food,friendly staff, and a great asmophere.

This restaurant is one of the best I have tried it is always a very high standard and taking your own drinks makes it very affordable

Have been here 4 times now in the last 2 -3 years and i have had amazing service. It deserves all the credit it gets. Food is fresh and always amazing. We had a my sisters hen on the second floor and was so impressed with the size of the area they give you for free. Would highly recommend this place. I cant wait to go again.

It is really nice in here. Beautiful food, good portions and the decor is gorgeous. Only problem would be the atmosphere.. It can be pretty quiet on weekday evenings. But we always go on valentines day.. They give the girl a rose and it's very romantic.
