Very lovely restaurant hidden away off the main road. Nice bar and great tasting food. Friendly staff and good service. Portions small and cost of platters very expensive for what you get on them. Service charge is included in your final bill, too. Public parking is close by. This is reasonably priced, free in the evening.

We used five rivers for the catering for our wedding last August. The food is amazing- some of the best indian food I have ever tasted. On the day itself the service from their staff was faultless and we received so many compliments from our guests about them. However the reason we have given 3 stars was because the confirming and tasting experience wasn't so smooth. After having arranged our food tasting, we turned up to discover that there was no such booking, despite us having an email confirmation. And they couldn't accommodate a food tasting. This was inconvenient for us as we had travelled up from London specifically for this. This meant we had to make a second trip. There was a problem with emails too and we didn't receive our final food choice confirmation until a week before the wedding. This was quite a stressful time so wasn't something we enjoyed and made us worry about how they would be on the day itself. However in the end it was all fine and the day went smoothly.
