Brother and I went here for lunch as visiting the area to go to a football match. Pub was selected due to the good reviews for food. It did not let us down. Great portions, quality and hot. Just as you would want. Vast range of beers too. Handy to also watch the lunchtime match on the tv. Highly recommended place to go.

The real ales are fabulous in this pub. Best pub in the Walsall area by miles.
The food was delicious & moreish as usual.

The food is very good here. It's always well cooked and the chips are fabulous. I sometimes have the liver and bacon and was upset to find it's disappeared from the evening menu. What's going on? It was excellent, why take it off? We can highly recommend it.

A lovely friendly pub, a fine range of drinks, from real ales, to a couple of good ciders, and a variety of tipples that would tickle everyones fancy, A lovely atmoshphere and a refreshing change from the standard pub chain. Would certainly visit again!

Just went in for a quick beer before catching a train, so unfortunately didn't get time to eat.
It was a busy Saturday lunchtime so we struggled to get to the bar, but service was good.Good choice of real ales, which were well kept.

Me and my have been here a few times the beers are great the food is great , this time we had sunday roast it was great 6 types of vedge mash roast potatoes meat yorkshire pud and stuffing £5.95 it was the best we had in ages this pub should be packed out

if your into your real ales this place is a gem , a bit of a walk up the hill to get to it and the pub is staps galore but with its wide range and reasonable price you would have to go a long way to match or beat it , would take you a week or so to try all the beers , the ones i tried were in good condition , clear and fresh tasting
