This is a very friendly and inviting public house. Always a wide variety of beers (14 regularly changing) and 2 real ciders. The food is of an excellent quality and not over priced. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Would recommend a visit.

Meet our friends for our monthly get together after many months of trying different pubs have settled on this one for the last 3 months. Food drinks and service all first class, always try different beers and food on each visit. Selection of beers on the board makes you feel like a kid in a sweet shop what shall I have, the food is the same. Great friendly staff and friendly atmosphere can't wait for next month.

Such a pub is becoming increasingly rare, the Black Country Arms has an atmosphere that transports its customers into a comfortable world of warmth and expectation without disappointment. We visited one lunchtime and after reading the menu we selected from a good range of meals all very reasonably priced, some meals were a refreshing blast to the past, I chose faggots mash and mushy peas with a delightful gravy, (wonderful ). For anyone who likes to sample real ale the choice was amazing .I can recommend this true,' Pub' to anyone who like the real thing. I will look forward to my next visit.

This lovely pub, the best in the Black Country Ales collection & which is currently Walsall Camra pub of the year still as ever has beautiful tasting & high quality ales. My 6 ales I had yesterday were lovely, as was my dinner. Brilliant monthly quiz as ever. A pub that makes you feel relaxed & at home. Music nights are on monthly too. The best pub in Walsall buy a country mile. Kim is an excellent landlady & the staff are friendly. Tom is knowledgeable on want drinks to recommend customers. A must visit for any real ale fan.

Went there in January 2016 and had Liver and Onions, honestly say its the best I have had out anywhere at an excellent price. Will be going again to try another dish. Excellent and wide choice of beers. As a CAMRA member I can highly recommend this pub in Walsall

Myself and a few colleagues ate here recently and it is a great place, with a real country pub kind of feel to it. The first thing that struck me was the vast array of different cask ales on sale, if you are an ale drinker you will be spoilt for choice!! Looking forward to some good pub food I ordered the cottage pie with veg. After a little while the land lady brought out the meals that my colleagues had ordered, it turned out my order hadn't been processed. The lady was lovely and she was ever so apologetic about the mix up. I didn't mind too much as it gave me an excuse to have another glass of wine!!
Unfortunately my colleagues had all finished eating by the time my food came out but the landlady apologised again and gave me my money back, without me asking or anything. It was fairly busy in there that night and having worked in restaurants I understand that sometimes these things happen but I thought it was a nice gesture. The cottage pie I had ordered was delicious, as was my colleagues steak and ale pie that I had a little taste of whilst waiting for mine. I would certainly not be put off from eating there again, the staff were welcoming and even without getting my money back the food was incredibly reasonably priced.
