We had an excellent experience with Franklins Removals. The two gentlemen arrived promptly on the day and were extremely efficient, well organised and professional throughout. They handled all our furniture with great care and attention, making what could have been a stressful day feel completely straightforward. They worked incredibly hard, were courteous and respectful, and took real pride in doing the job properly.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Franklins Removals and would definitely use them again. Excellent service from start to finish!

This venue is very friendly for everyone including lgbt+ and family's the person who left a bad review about not being gay friendly was barred for doing sexual activities in the toliet what is absolutely disgstuint they don't kick people out for nothing I've been here many time on my own and with family its a very safe place to drink and enjoy your night no trouble what so ever highly recommend drinking here mel and russ run things properly and keep all the community safe

I recently had 10 windows and 3 doors (whole house) fitted by Bloxwich Windows, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Glenn and his team.
From the very first initial visit right through to the completion of the work, the service was exceptional. The whole team was professional, efficient, clean and courteous, and they clearly took pride in the work they carried out.
There were a few issues with the glass in some of the windows, as well as some hinges that needed replacing. The team were fantastic in pointing these issues out to me, and everything was replaced and fixed at the earliest convenience. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent, which made the experience completely stress-free.
A big thank you to Glenn and the entire team for doing such a great job. I would highly recommend Bloxwich Windows to family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Overall, the experience was okay. The doors fit properly, which is the main thing, but there were a several issues with the installation and aftercare that mean I won't use Simply Doors again for our upstairs doors.
I was originally quoted £2,400. The initial fitting date was cancelled because their van had broken down, and the installation was rearranged for the Saturday. I felt I had little choice but to accept the Saturday appointment, as I was told they didn’t know when else they would be able to fit me in. The fitters told me they often work Saturdays. They are contractors, so perhaps they work Saturdays elsewhere but not normally for Simply Doors.
The oak doors themselves were fitted properly. However, on the day of installation — after I had paid Simply Doors in full, but before paying the fitters — I was told that one of the handles was missing. It then took 12 days, and several chasers from me, before the missing handle was fitted. I appreciate that they are busy, but in my view, completing an installation that has already been paid for in full should take priority over starting jobs that have yet to be completed.
The French doors also have some minor surface scratches, as shown in the photos. Simply Doors are correct that I did not raise these scratches directly with them. The reason I didn’t was that I had seen previous reviews where customers reported being told that similar scratches must already have been there. Had I believed the door would be replaced as a result, I would have raised the issue directly. This is on me.
One thing worth knowing when comparing quotes is that the price does not include removing the rubbish (the packaging from the doors, hinges and handles supplied) or taking away your old doors. They will take the old doors away for £6 each, so make sure you factor this into the overall cost. I have no issue with them charging for door disposal, but I think this should be made clear at the quotation stage rather than being raised on the day of installation. The rubbish required a visit to the tip which wasn't too bad.
There were also a few finishing issues. As was flagged on the installation day I have been left to fill the old hinge recesses myself, as this was not something the fitters will do. I also need to level and sand back the area around the new strike plates.
As shown in the photos, pieces of cardboard from the packaging were also used to wedge/shim some of the hinges. Card was similarly used behind the strike plates to make them sit flush. I only discovered the latter when the pieces fell out after I removed a strike plate to sand the surrounding area. I don’t know whether using cardboard in this way will cause any problems over time, but it wasn’t something I expected to find as part of the installation and don't know the long term consequences of it.
So, overall: the doors fit and function properly, which is the most important point, but the incomplete installation, delay in getting the missing handle fitted, finishing details and lack of clarity around disposal costs were disappointing.
